Prayers going up for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
Thanks a big bunch. Well the surgery was this morning, lasted about an hour and 15 minutes. She stayed in recovery for about an hour and a half and then I got to go see her and sit with her for two hours. Around 1 PM they sent us home, and all is well. The neurosurgeon said it would be simple and it seems like it was. The question remains as to how much good it will do. He said that the nerve has been compressed for a long time and that she might not get immediate relief. So my good friends please keep praying that it will all be fine.
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart,

Will continue prayers.
Prayers still ongoing
Still praying. Get well Linda. Mae says hello also.
Good news.....rest easy....both of you....
Great news Gene, Ya'll just relax now.
Still praying for you all.
We are still praying now for a speedy and complete recovery.
"D" tell Mae hello from us also. It's very encouraging to have so many friends praying for Linda. May God Bless each and every one of y'all.
Now for an update. It's been 3 days now and all is still going great. So far Linda has none of the old back pain that has plagued her for years, especially the last few. Even her legs aren't hurting right now. She has to totally stay on her back for the next 2 weeks and then go see the DR. We thank you for the continued prayers as they seem to be working just great. May God bless each one on you by fulfilling a need that you have.

Thanks for the update....prayers still ongoing
Prayers sent. I had L4 to L5 fusion about 8 years ago and I'm still improving all the time.:ThumbsUp:ThumbsUp
Thanks Tony, that's good to hear. Linda's was at the L4/L5 but didn't involve any fusion or cage. The neurosurgeon said in her case it wasn't necessary and to do any more than what he would do. To do any more would just be milking the insurance co. It's great to hear someone talk like that. He's done work on some friends of mine and they all give him excellent marks.

When they did mine I had waited way to long. My surgeon said my scatic nerve was chewed up pretty bad. I've got steel plates and screws tieing my fusion together. It took me a few months to get over it but I'm better now than I was 25 years ago. I hope ya'll have the same results. :ThumbsUp I think I can almost do a cartwheel. Jumping Jacks Icon
Tony, just go watch someone else do a cartwheel on youtube. You will be better off. :biggrin
Prayers sent for speedy recovery.
I would like to thank all of you who have been praying for me. For the first time in years I am completely without pain in my back and my legs are also doing very well. The Dr. said it might take a while longer for the legs but they are also doing well. The worst thing about my recovery is lying flat on my back or walking no sitting down.
Thanks for all the prayers from all of you. My back is doing fine not hurting at all. The Dr did a fine job my legs are doing better too. The hardest thing is lying flat on my back or walking no sitting at all. Thanks again an will see you all in Nov.

Good news.......
I hope I didn't confuse anyone as I did myself. My laptop slipped and I lost my post so I tried to remember what I wrote and that's the second note at the bottom. Oh well. At least all is well and looking forward to better days ahead but most importantly is thank you for the prayers. I really believe they have made a difference and it's great to have the support of all of you.
Linda.
Great news Mrs. Linda, Praise the Lord. You keep doing so well and we will keep praying.
Hope to see you and PPG in November.
