That's a beauty! What was the weight?
It weighed 2.9. It was 18 inches live measurement and shrunk 1/2inch the next day when he had it officially documented

He said Thanks to everyone. And yes CC her mouth was huge easily would have weighed over 3 if it wasn't summer weight. My brother sent it off to some guy in Georgia to get it mounted apparently a well known crappie taxidermist and it will be back in less than 3wks
Don't know if processes have changed or not, when I had a largemouth done, was told by one of the best in the country that it takes longer than that for skin to dry properly. He might want to tell his taxidermist to not be in too big of a hurry, so it will last a lifetime.Quote:
