Wylie Ramps Update 2

OK guys,
we need collective knowledge about all the ramps on Lake Wylie.
We know:

Allison Ramps are closed,

Buster Boyd?

Ebinezer ?

South Point Access?

CopperHead? Closed.
Copperhead

Boat ramps are closed due to low water levels. We will re- open them once water levels rise to a safe level.Thank you for your understanding.

All 4 ramps at Allison are closed.

2 out of 4 are closed at Buster Boyd. The remaining 2 must be good by the large boats that were putting in today. The landing was about full this afternoon

Yea, all them boats must have came to us yesterday, some people shouldn't be allowed to have a boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Every one should have to take a boaters safety course before they get to drive a boat! Me and my son both have took it, we saw a lot of people breaking the law yesterday!

I hope everyone would take at least a second to think before being stupid. It's going to get a little rough until all the ramps shut down. I just cringe thinking of all those shallow points and people cutting across them full blast. I did it when I was a young'un and learned real quick when I was ejected from a Jon boat over the front and stood up in about 10" of water. Hurt my feelings pretty good! Hopefully no one will lose their life out there.:twocents

I seen drivers with beer cans in hand, running wide open with in 150 feet of a fisherman, had a wake boarder go over my lines behind me, thought I was going to hook him! Lot of lake riders making wakes with in 150 feet of me and not slowing up in the no wake zones. I dont under stand some people.

stopped by b/b today :confused: why would they close the two middle ramps and leave the two ends open
is there that much difference in depth from middle to ends :dono just seems odd to me

I thought the same thing. I 've used each one of them in the past, couldn't tell much difference in any of them.

I haven't used BB in a while but it seemed a couple ramps were steeper than the others...may just be old age

Used Ebinezer ramp today
Hit bottom 2x coming in

Somebody told me earlier today Buster Boyd is closed down. Any confirmatoin on this?

can't confirm, if I can, I'll take a look at it tomorrow:dono

I've been putting in NC south point

It was open monday, I was there.
