I like the Gray Ghost. I do pretty well on that color.
The Grey ghost should be an outstanding jig it sure does look good matter of fact it is super.
Looking good! Only thing I may add is maybe your tying in the wrong end of that Gray Rayon. Rayon for sure has a direction to it! I say maybe because I am not positive, but any time I see the body showing the wraps so clear is when the wrong end was tied in.

I think you are right I was have a tuff day that day health wise and things just was not going good .. I have been checking for the direction on the chenille since you told me about it ..

I really like like the gray ghost jig at the top.
Mainly talking about Rayon which most regular chenille is that and the other is Nylon which is all the Florescent colors and there is a Black and Brown in both kinds. They also have a couple other colors in Nylon, but most chenille colors that is not Mylar is going to be Rayon. If you take a piece of Rayon chenille and gently hold it between thumb and finger and pull it with other hand, it will feel more rough one way and the other way will feel more smooth. You want to always tie it in using the rough end so when you make your wraps it will look more even and not like that top jig looks with the flat looking places.Quote:

LOL, it's just that drove me crazy when I first started tying and my jigs looked like that sometimes and other times they looked fine. So at some point I just started playing around with it and discovered the direction thing and sice then I do not ever do that. However when you run into a spliced spot many time the end changes and have to go to the other end to get the good one!Quote:

I really like the Gray Ghost. A reflective flat or 3d eye would be a real topper for it. I do very well on those with just a couple of pieces of flash in different colors but not mixed, just one color flash per jig. Very well done.

I had no idea there was a right and wrong side to Chenille! I'll have to pay more attention! But I agree, don't think the fish are as picky as we are! LOL
