It looks like its Tillery for the 15th, what ramp are we putting in at? I have never been to Tillery.

Only ramp I've ever put in was Hwy 24/27. Pretty nice ramp. Lots of parking. Only been to tillery once.
That would be the Swift Island ramp. Have to be able to go under a very low bridge. Not sure if a pontoon boat will fit or anything more then 5 feet above the water.
I can meet u all at swift island but I'm going to put in at lily's bridge my ttop want go under that bridge

Norwood is on other side of Lake the closest ramp to 24/27 is cooks or lilly's bridge

I don't actually know where that campground is
I found a map and directions, so shouldn't be a major problem. it is a good way from the ramp to the camp ground.
Google maps shows the campground is 4.25 miles on the water to the ramp. Lilly's bridge shows to be 7.25 miles on the water.
Put in where ever works best for everyone. That was just the only ramp I've been to.
It doesn't matter to me which ramp, but if we all use the same ramp easier to fuss and feud with everyone.
There are 4 boat landings on Tillery.
Lilly’s Bridge- Close to the dam good size parking lot.
Norwood- In the town of Norwood smaller parking lot. About in the middle of the lake.
Stony Mountain- Good parking but the road to ramp is not a good one the last time I put in there. Across the lake from Swift Island.
Swift Island- Good parking but have to go under a low bridge to get out on the lake or to the landing. Close to the 24/27 Bridge.
What is the time line , when will we start fishing and finish? It does not get dark till 9pm and the last time I was out the fish did not start biting till around midnight. Or I did not find them till then:dono.
Coming down from winston salem which ramp would be best to get closer to the fishing spots, never been to Tillery so totaly in the dark about lake?

If we want to do a meet/greet and hot dogs we can put in at the Stony Mountain ramp. It is off 24/27 close to the bridge across the lake from Swift Island. All boats will be able to put in and get to the landing if you put in elsewhere. Norwood landing would also work but is not off a main Hwy. The same for Lilly's bridge.

Hoping to make this one. Depends on how un-tore up the house is by then, got some remodeling going on. I'll use the Stoney Mountain Ramp since I can't get under the bridge at Swift Island.
I'd like to come over just having a tuff time figuring out where to launch. I found the ramp at 24/27, where is Swift Island. Are we going to meet up at one spot? Can someone point us in a direction to start looking for fish?

Where can we get bait near the lake or on the way from the Charlotte area?
If ur coming 24/27 from Charlotte ul pass several places b4 u get to lake that sales minnows like the minnow pond store I think the ramp is right beside cooks marine
Most time we meet arnd 6 or 7 then fish til arnd 1 or 2
Log cabin store at corner of 24/27 and 109 sells them also
Sorry swift island is ramp on 24/27 right on other side of big bridge coming from Charlotte stony is the one beside cooks marine I believe
I have never fished Tillery before, but after this thread got started I made this ramp map from Google maps. Hope it helps someone who has never been there before with the layout of the 4 ramps.
