Long story short Minn Kota sent me a new Ulterra from the problems I was having with mine. They were very prompt with sending the new one. I got it on yesterday and Im back in business today!!! I couldnt be happier! And the day couldnt start off better!

It was a beautiful day! Everything was perfect! Magic baits were bandit 300's mad cow and white/black spatterback, 20 feet back with rod tips dragging water. They wanted something white over any other color. Color DID matter today. Believe it or not the fish were in 7-9fow and EVERYWHERE. even with the majority of the lake being well over 20 feet deep. I dont know why they wanted that shallow but they did. Water temp was 94 degrees. Speed they wanted it was 1.6mph.

Yes sir. I am running 30 pound braid. I have 6 different colors so if i get tangled i can see what im doing. Got hung several times and with the braid u never even stop. Just pull rod out holder point it to the back of the boat and lock thumb on spool and yank. Like i said i got hung multiples times yesterday and never lost a crank. It just bends out the hooks and comes on in. Just straighten em back out and ur back in business.
