Still as good as back then.We are so blessed to have the freedoms we enjoy.

The Meltons have a legacy of hunting and fishing. My daughter killed her first buck hunting with the Melton family. Thanks Jackie for sharing some of your families past experience. Wish I'd have been able to fish with my grandfathers. Count your blessings.

Congratulations on a good day Jackie! Neither side of my parents parents did any hunting or fishing. One side yuppy and the other side country but didn't hunt or fish. Have no idea how my parents even met.(lol) I was the odd ball (lol) always digging up worms and wanting to go fishing on the river.

Reminds me of when I used to fish with my Paw Paw. Sometimes off the bank and sometimes in the 12' cypress skiff he built. Boy Howdey, that was a long time ago. :fish
