Oh and these are store bought jig heads with collar and barb which make it a bit challenging. I do have no collar heads ordered hopefully will make the chenille look completely even then.
I think when you get the collar -less jigs you will see a big difference. It looks pretty good besides that. And welcome to the site.

I think your jig looks great. Nice proportion and attention to detail. Some folks make them look like that for their taste and it bulks up the jig. Welcome from Kentucky and the art of tying.

Looks good - if you really want you can cut the collar off.
Looks good, File the barb off, you can cut and mash the collar if you like, but I have a few jigs that I tie intentionally over a collar just to have bulk in the body.
Good color selection and very good tie.
