You won't catch anything but girl fish now.
Turned out great nice job.
That is a great color. It works well for gills in our clear water strip pits.
Looks good. Wish I had the time right now to dye some feathers
Great looking color.
Awesome color, great job!

Some of the colors in the Veniards Dye color chart aren't available to us home dyers.
The Fly Dye comes in a bunch of colors from Anglers Workshop but the only one I've tried from this is the Fl. Hot Pink.
You can look at the colors of other dyes I used in other threads - here was the first one

Thanks for the information I will probably order some of the stuff from the outfit you got a hot pink from I have bought from other companies some of the stuff I have got is very expensive but by a small amounts would be all right just for a few feathers so I'm wanting to try the blue and some green will be dying marabou and some hair. watch my feathers and soapy water before I make it die water up like you I bring it to a boil and add white
vinegar I've also added so with the dye bath we used to do commercial work for a good friend of mine that was a commercial fly tying we were dying feathers we were dying a pound at a time he was making up whiskey glasses with the fly in the wall of the glass I wanted to take his contract over but he had a good friend in Florida keys and that contract to I believe that he was doing around 10,000 a year I have done some commercial work but boy I don't like it we had a contract for 10,000 flyers I got halfway through and told the guy I had it I'm seeing stuff in my dreams that was about 30 years ago.
Here is a link for you guys to go look at they sell the die also feathers.Feather Dye , Acid Dye , Wool Dye , Fly Fishing Dye, hair silk and nylon dye
I've looked at the Jacquards but they don't have Flourescent colors.
The Veniards dye I got from Stone River Outfitters in New Hampshire, $11 a jar but a little goes a long ways
The Fly Dye I got from Anglers Workshop and cost me $7.95 a jar for 15 grams and it doesn't take much.
Both dyes call for using more if you do fur. Still haven't got an answer from the guy who dyed rabbit skins with Rit and they stayed soft. Trying to find out how he did it!!!!
That Anglers Workshop should be a sticker here they have a lot of tying stuff. New owner they are here in town. Look good Fat!
They have good prices but they Need to get some better pics in the catalouge.
Angler's Fly Dyes
They were bought out by Lurepartsonline and moved to Il.
Yeah I saw that when I went to pay for it - lists all three, but they still show separate catalougs. Still haven't got my LPO catalouge yet.
