Ranger is good, can even be used to spray aquatic serface vegatation if you spray limited areas at a time
gordins pronto big n tuff is good. tractor supply.
Will it kill English Ivy? I have some starting to take over my fence line..
Add a teaspoon of Dawn per gallon. It helps to remove the natural oils on the leaves so the poison will cling to them better/longer.
Ditto on that product. Works nicely. I get the 2 1/2 gallon at roughly $90 at the feed store. Make sure you use the entire tank up though, it separates after sitting up for a while. I have a 30 gal tank, so I have to figure that in when mixing. Dawn is a good idea as well as an additive, excellent surfactant.
You will have much better luck killing poison ivy with triclopyr. Glyphosate will give some control but will not eradicate the plant.
You can buy an ag label round up at either of the hernando co-ops as well as triclopyr. I have no idea what they cost but 2.5 gallons will probably run you $50.
Thanks all for the replies. I found what I needed.
Be careful with the poison oak/ivy after you kill it. I cleared out a lot here about 8 years ago. Some of the vines growing up trees was as big as my forearm. I cut it with an ax and sprayed the roots. It's still falling out of the trees. If I pick it up with bare hands I'll break out.
