got a boston butt on the smoker and fixxin to put a pack of bacon on above it to cook and let the bacon drip on the butt, will eat the bacon for lunch, got some fresh maters for a BLT sandmich.

Over seven and a half inches of rain yesterday......then rained all night and this morning.....more on the way....slacked up some so decided I better get the grilling done.

Major rain went south of me. I got 3 1/8" yesterday, 1/8" so far this morning. Largest report last night was south of Tupelo, 9.98"

just cooked up a heck of feast,ribs,chicken,smoked sausage,and all the fixins,also home made strawberry ice cream.but the best part is haveing my kids and grand kids here all at the same time.life is good here rite know.Happy 4th everybody.
That is the best part rock. I had my daughter....both granddaughters....son in law and a sister in law over. Even though it was raining and couldnt go out side I got everything cooked up and we all had a great time. Dont want any supper tho.....still full lol
I started 1 butt on Friday afternoon.. Took it off this mornin bout 10, got to eating on it and heard a few more was showing up.. Threw 2 slabs of ribs that I originally bought anyhow.. Started pulling the butt at about 1, after it cooled off a little.. Wife was eating a bite here and there and then went and got another butt to throw on for the people she has invited over to watch fireworks tomorrow night!
