Soooo, go wrestle a gator or catch some big bream! Always sumpin to do....
Did see a gator over on lake Jackson.. We caught quite a few catfish while tryin to catch some bream at Washington, and caught 1 crappie.. It was a good crappie but only 1.. Learned that I needed to broaden my crank bucket a little and get some smaller cranks!
Never a waste of time to fish.....in it for the wrong reason if you can't be happy on the lake, period.
Crew wanted fillets for lunch on a rainy day. Caught a couple of dozen first thing for lunch. Bite is ok but not great
All a pound or less. Was in 8ft of water. From 5am till 7. Just about had quit biting by 6:30. Way better bite before daylight. Going to go tomorrow night in the full moon if it's clear and a little breeze to push the skeeters
