We are finally in the new home.

Got moved in this last weekend. Got a few odds and ends left but all very minor. Best thing is, it's 100% DEBT FREE!!! Thanks a whole bunch to GDG and his knowledge and craftsmanship. Thanks also to all my Crappie.com friends for all the prayers and well wishes!!! Here's a few pics. Now you can get off the hard stuff,them 2 blue bottles on the countertop and them chewable too....nice place!! Maybe the heartburn will subside after a couple weeks of chill in on the back porch

Ha!!! You noticed!! It's certainly stressful, but worth it. Looking forward to enjoying this place, it's really quite and peaceful here. Lots of deer, squirrels, and red foxes. Gonna get busy building a workshop/storage building soon, then save some more money and buy another truck and boat.

Looks great. Just got my patio poured last week and the front walk too. Like you , I get some $$$$ built up and spend it on the next project which will be a covered top for the patio.

Well...i guess that'll work. Kind of a lot of trouble to go through for a place to keep yer Bologna, bed and boat though.

I've always been carefull about my spending habits but about 12-14 years ago I started listening to Dave. I'm sure glad I paid attention, because it made a big difference when the disaster struck.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. We are very fortunate to have made such progress since last years tornado. I have also learned the true value of friends and prayers. Everything we think we own is just stuff that can be replaced. Most of it is junk you don't really need. Value your friends and relatives, they are irreplaceable
