I fished Swan Creek this morning from 6:00AM till 12:00PM. I looked for Crappie, but was fairly unsuccessful, caching only 9. I did return one 16 inch Crappie to the water and kept 3 that would measure. I did find lots of gills, keeping a limit. Best bait was a 1/16oz Blue Fox Spinner in Chartreuse Green.

I picked up more of the Blue Fox spinners from Walmart before everyone reads this and cleans them out.

I was walking around at Walmart yesterday while the guys were putting new tires on my truck and picked up the same lure. Now I know it works lol
they no longer have them at the wallyworld in Fayetteville...........
Nice ditch glad you found something that works for those gills... I'd say with it's size it eliminated some of the smaller gills which is a good thing... Catch any crappie on it?
I caught several Crappie on the same spinner, along with a couple dozen bass. Not sure if it will work everywhere but it work great on this trip.
