Might be wise to change plans. Most campsites are closed due to flooding. Lake Level 369.39' msl and rising. It goes over the spillway on the dam at 373' msl. The lake is covering thousands of acres of woods right now. Was picking up worms in the road run out by the flood water when the COE came to lock the gate going in to Sunlight Bay just off 28 in Plainview about noon. Water was over the road just past first gate off 28 when I left .

The next time I stop for more than 2 seconds in Memphis, TN, I am praying that it's cause that's where the Lord came back to first, and I had to go see it. The last time, I almost had to fire my weapon.......twice. Wife said she'd leave me if we ever had to stop there again.

I am planning on going up there tomorrow. As long as the dam don't blow and i can get to my house i will be good to go. Sounds like a weekend of laying around the house and maybe get a little spring squirrel hunting in. I am sure my yard is covered in Big Nightcrawlers and check my Catalpa trees to see if there are any worms yet.
We used to live south of Memphis, I can't count the times we went to Memphis and witnessed crime, the last time we took friends to the rendevous, the police had hands cuff some guy who had blood all over him and were loading him into their car. I don't know what had happened but it seemed like every time we went there it would be something like that. The scariest was when I made a wrong turn onto Chelsea and drive into a gang fight with chains and pipes beating each other to death. Be careful Greg.
Never had a problem going to the Rendevous, but it sounds like it has gotten a lot worse since I was last there. Never really liked going down that alley anyway!

They are in the stickies of the moderated forum, not sure this is piles placed by CDC members though, my guess is if you didn't help place them you probably won't get the cordanants but maybe I'm wrong, with good side scan you can find all the piles u need, right now water is to deep for most, fish the trees is your best bet until lake gets back closer to normal poolQuote:

This an old post but lake is still over 15' above high spring level of 345 msl. Last time I checked it suppose to be normal (below 345 )on August 10 . water is stinking and will get awful nasty with all the water coming back into the lake from surrounding woods !Quote:
