Will do, big 'un.
As one who knows well how to spell orthopedics, I'll tell you that a hip is the easiest of the big three (hip, knee, shoulder). Shoulder is worst, rehab is awful (ask me and Rookie40). Knee is next cause the rehab is intense. But if they do the hip arthroscopically, you get up and walk, and limp for a week or two, and rehab is mostly nothing, and VOILA! Good for 30 years!
So, I'm praying she does fine and no more pain. Folks who have it done are in enough pain to decide to go ahead and do it.......so I pray this fixes that.
She'll be dancing all around you soon! Keep us posted.

Aw, quit yore beefin! :) I told you that when you get MY age, you have to make a lot of changes like that! I did that a long time ago, three of 'em. Now I'm to the point of putting in handrails so I can get up OFF the danged thing!
Glad she's doing better. Honestly, it's amazing what they can do now. My great grandmother died in 1968 (at the age of 99+) and spent the last years just sitting in a chair, having to be picked up and moved physically, because she fell and broke her hip. NOW? Now, they fix it in a morning, and you're on your way. Lots wrong in the world today, but lots we can be thankful for too.
Hope Lori has a full and fast recovery!
belated prayers sent. She will be using that hip to kick your butt soon enough!!!!! And you'll deserve it!!
Update--Lori is doing well. She's coming home tomorrow. It's going to be a tough row to hoe, but she's a trooper!!!! I married her cause she was Tough, and she's proving that I was right about her!!! Doctors said she is doing better than anyone they can remember at this early stage.
Thank You all for your Prayers, emails, texts, Facebook messages, and your sincere concern. As one C.C family member to all the rest of you, once again ya'll have shown why we stick together regardless of the picking and poking we do at each other. When it counts the most, we take close care of each other!!!
Glad to hear she's doing so well, Bill. Lots of answered prayers right there, my friend. Just don't let her overdo it. Thanks for keeping us posted.
Sorry, I haven't lurked over here in a couple of weeks now. Praying for a speedy recovery for Lori and praying for the family as well.
Glad she's doing well....believe me, you'll like those 'taller toilets'! We put one in our house several years ago and it was so nice we put one in our cabin. Now, when one of us is on the 'taller toilet', the other one would rather 'go' in their pants than use our other 'midget' john:biggrin!
Great news, still praying for quick recovery.
