Temp and cook time?
Anyone?
Never done it......I always cook my burgers on the grill. Google it and see what you find.
I read about it on the Internet they said it was better than grilled. I'm going to find out.
Some meats such as burgers, steaks, small cuts of chicken, etc. (as well as most vegetables) are much better off being grilled due to the heat to cause some sort of charring to seal in moisture and flavors. Your burger might end up tasting like a meat loaf, which isn't bad now that I think of it - but not the same to me as "charbroiled". Think of a thick steak as smoked, it would probably taste like a roast. I smoke and grill alot. Don't have a Masterbuilt, do the smoking thing the regular (or I guess, the old fashioned) way. Just giving you my thoughts.
If you haven't tried it take my word for it! Good! I Cooked for 45 minutes at 250 deg.Attachment 203517
What kind of wood chips did you use ?
I can't hardly eat stuff cooked with charcoal any more. It gives me bad indigestion and I love the taste. It used to not bother me.
Been wanting to try that, now I guess I will. Thanks for posting Crappiemaniac.
They were very good. I just used mesquite wood and cooked for 45 minutes at 250. I really was surprised at the taste and how Moist they were. I am hooked already on the smoker very little effort to cook with. Doing a pork loin tomorrow any suggestions on cooking It.
I see no dill pickles, only thing I use for indigestion
