Looking good Don....your tomatoes are way ahead of mine.
Nice job Gewber.
I too had to replant my okra along with my purple hull string beans, but all looks good now.
Your maters are looking great Don!Something is puzzling me though. I don't see a speck of duct tape in that maze of twine no where!:dono
I was trying to figure out that maze of twine:scratchhead. Looking good DD. Be eating out of there before you know it.
It's for the pickling cucumbers. I ran twine through all my mater cages further to grow. Guess that works but I've never grown cumcumbers
I just this last Friday planted. Hoping to get rain this week. So far the rain looks promising. Your garden looks good you will be eating tomatoes soon looks like. Thanks for sharing the garden pictures.
I planted my cukes in tomato cages a few years back. They would hide from me and be way to big to eat when I did.
Nice looking DD. You are way ahead of me.
I want to know the secret to growing Bell Peppers.
I've grown bell peppers for years. I may get one good one per season. Most are small and thin wall. They may want more water than I give them.
I planted Dixie White butter beans this year for the first time. About 1/3 of the row came up so I went hunting for seeds. No one around here carries them. I went to Ripley yesterday and checked all the stores along the way, didn't find any. I guess I'll transplant them close together and finish the row out with something else.
Lookin good, your ahead of mine, but Feesh has already given me some squash and radishes, I'm having to guard mine like a dog from the deer!
BTW you guys, a piece of the heavy bull fence I think is what it's called will work excellent for the cukes and squash to run up, it's a little pricey but will last forever
I've got some or those cattle panels someone can have in an old horse barn I have. I used them for my stall fronts above the front wall of the stalls for feeding and watering the horses.
I do NOT deliver. [emoji57]
Go online and get a catalog from one of the seed distributors for the butter beans.
Cray, the co-op and tri-county in Hernando were the first places I looked. While picking up craigslist items I've checked S. Third feed and seed, Germantown, Collierville and every store between. We don't have them here.
Pesce, they came from an heirloom seed co. online. They were on special, all the seeds were on special, should have bought more than 2 packs. Now they are $4 for 2 ozs and $4.50 shipping. I have 3 seed catalogs and they don't list them.
I've got to get feed today so I'll pick up some white limas to finish the row. We got a good rain yesterday so it will be a few days before I can get out there.
