Yall may recall me saying last Saturday was gonna be our play in the yard weekend. Well it was!:biggrin Sorry it took me all week to get the pictures all sorted through and posted but it ya like long picture filled posts this one is for you.

Wow.....great report and pics Cappy......I really enjoy reading your reports.....it makes me enjoy my back yard and the simple pleasures of life more.
Thanks G some times our greatest sin is complacency we take things for granted. We try hard to just sit back and enjoy the yard we created for our selves and not take for granted the things you see every day.

I agree with ya G but she don't its very hard to get her to let me take her pic and when I do and she don't like it she edits them out. I don't get it cause to me she is a beautiful woman but she is shy cause of her scars.

Awesome day for sure Cappy and Peg. Mae and I just got back from sitting on a bench watching the Mississippi roll by, while we ate a snow cone. We do this a few times a year around sunset. Very peaceful and great conversation time. Love being near water!! Danny

That's the truth Cappy, Ann and I are the same way. Great post, you write well. Like you, I still have grapefruits as well on the tree. Ann is also mixing up the sugar water for the hummingbird feeders. She read somewhere the red dye in the commercial mixes gives the little birds cancer. Wish I could get a picture of them, they're everywhere. Thanks for posting.Quote:

That's funny about the PBR's Cappy. Reminds me of my buddies in West Texas. You make a point of joining us at The Toledo Bend gathering next year at the end of February. I know you wanted to be with us last time, didn't work out. Please join us, it would be an extreme pleasure to visit with you.
