The length of my arm is 17" from elbow to fingertip. So I know she is close to 17". Tried to find weight scales but nobody had any. I know it's not a record but it's my personal best. What's your thoughts?

At 17" this time of year if it is a female still with eggs should be right at 3, if spawned out 2.75
I weighed one a few weeks ago that was 16 1/2 inches, it weighed 2.7 lbs. but wasn't carrying eggs.
Good fish. It sure makes a difference on which lake they come out of on how much they weigh for their length. We had a fully egged at 16 and 1/2 that was 2.87. Same fish out of the local lake would barely break 2.
That's a good one but from Nimrod after the spawn close to 2lbs my guess. Other lakes would be heavier . Still a nice fish.
You or the better half catch it ? :biggrin That fish with finger tip bent would be close to 16''. Still a good fish Byron !:highfive
Just by the naked eye , Ima say a good 2 lbs, not much more than that....GREAT FISH !! Congrats
I weighed one last week exactly 17in full of eggs. She hit 2.6 on a rapala digital scale. I thought she was bigger. She's in the freezer. Dunno if I'll mount her or not. Nice fish no matter. Congrats!
I'd guess that one would take about 1.409 ounces of corn meal.
Little over 2 would be my guess grate fish congrats!
16.5=2.4. 17=2.6
Depends on the lake and whether she has spawned out or not. She looks spawned out and I say around 2. Put the knife to her and throw her in the grease.
Really hard to tell by looking at that pic. I'd say between 2 and 2.5. Like others have said, it depends on the lake. A Nimrod 17 incher would be lucky to make 2lbs. On Conway, you better find some scales, cuz it is gonna be well over 3 with eggs, and right at 3 without. Easy solution: GET SOME SCALES MAN!!!
