Horseshoe

For all you CACA guys coming over this month you better brush up on your post spawn pattern. There were a few trolling out from Karefree but I am still under the docks. I hope that me and Hawgdawg get to fish with you but I won't know till that Friday. Don't mind giving a little info for those that dock shoot. Fish the docks in 8 foot of water. Look for the dock with the "Horseshoe" sign. Also follow all traffic signs. If Memphislab is there he will be close to the dock that says,"slow no wake 100 ft". It's white. Good info. I have never done very well on the docks but me and my son caught 20 on Sunday in the Cypress.Fish still had eggs but they were soft.

Good job Billy, and good luck to you and Randy if you fish the tournament. We have haven't fished Horseshoe that much. However, on one of the trips we met Memphis slab around one of the docks and he was pullin a stringer of fish that almost sunk that little one man boat.

I love fishing those docks on the Shoe...and I am sure I have been under that one LOL. Those water Flea sure can Rck Yur world when they start going tho. Nice fish BillyE

love those Docks as well bud, i used to fish the lake allot but havent been much in last few years, heres a pic of a mess i caught jiggin the docks 2 years ago, hope to find em like that again here in a few weeks!!!!Attachment 202067

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I've got to say congratulations Chris! Man know what it's like. I went to college at night for 10 years, never missed a semester. Had 2 kids during that time too, missed a lot of them growing when they were small. I packed 2 lunches everyday, one to eat at lunch and the other on the drive to wherever I had a class. Worked fulltime 40+ hours a week as a lineman for Entergy. Drove all over the state to get the classes I needed in order to graduate, didn't have the internet then. Nothing like being in a bad work situation with a family to motivate you to get an education. :cheers2
