Caught 17 today but 16 of them were 6" or less. Was fishing a gray/chartreuse hair jig about 8' deep in open water. Water is still a bit high and a little murky. Found clearer water around Saline Lake, Shad Lake, and Long Branch.

Hey Tbone I saw a report on Facebook where they were still catching fish shallow there.
Saw some people along the bank but it looked like they were bream fishing. Really didn't see a lot of perch fishermen on the water.
My father-in-law caught 19 last weekend and 22 this weekend. Nice size slab's. He been fishing shallow with shiners.

I found out today that my father-in-law was catching in about five feet of water. Next to trees.
Heard that there was a Sac Au Lait tournament at Woodson's Landing Saturday(5-2-15). Unable to get results, thought maybe on of yah might have info.

Finally made it to LARTO today��������.
planned and hoped to have been here sooner but didn't work out. That's all ok cause I can see the Lake now. Here's to a great week fishing.

We'll surely YALL did better than we did. Very slow for us except for catfish. Most we ever caught crappie fishing ☺️. But all n all we R blessed just to b fishing. Good luck to YALL we r headed home for a few days and grandkids will b out of school soon so they may teach us some new crappie tricks.
