I was cutbait fishing today in the shallows and this one took one of my offerings. It tipped the scales at 31 lbs...a new Personal Best for me with the stripers.:) After a little CPR it was released to be caught another day.

Wow, Butch that is one nice Striper. I know he gave you a tussle. My biggest Striper was around 10 pounds, can't imagine landing one that size. Thanks for the post and picture.

Nice fish, getting away from crappie fishing once and awhile don't hurt anything either. Keeps the blood pumping don't it! Very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing the report with us.:popcorn
Nice fish Butch! Be careful, next thing you know you'll switch over to the dark side....
I'm not a kitty chaser, but we have hung some monster blue cats pulling crappie jigs in shallow water this time of year. They seem to love shallow water areas in back of Cooter Creek. Wonder if the cats spawn shallow this time of year too ??
Butch, I got a big blue Sunday while trolling herring in the mouth of Fishing Creek.
