It's been a while since I've caught a 16 inch fish but got one yesterday on Seminole. The other 2 were 14! The bite was slow, but it was worth it to catch this big girl!

Have never caught a 16 inch. Great photo. Will be fishing Fish Drain Pond and Spring Creek next week. What was the technique you used to catch these big mamma's?

Nice catch
Well done sir.
Congrats. excellant catch.
Back home today after fishing shellcrackers and bream at Seminole. Didn't see anyone fishing crappie. I was in the Fish Pond Drain and Spring Creek areas. What area did you get the big crappie.
Got it on a deep water dock on the main lake.
Not much deep water around docks where I was fishing but will look around a little more next time up there....which may be sooner than expected. My sister fishing partner wants to go back soon. We just got home yesterday. May go again later this month to see if we can catch the shellcrackers bedding.
Dad saw 2 guys in a boat on Gantt yesterday pull in about 30 shellcrackers in about 2 feet of water.
