Saw him on Lake Nimrod the other day and he had on his Southern Pro shirt and he showed me the walleye tube he was catching them on that day! Not everyone will show you what bait and give you info about the fish they are catching. Congrats on the recognition.
Congratulations. No doubt his info shared has put as many crappie in peoples boats as anyone in the country. No flash, no gimmics, nothing to prove, just a pole, a jig, and fish. Lots of fish. When I'm in his boat, even I become a pretty good jig fisherman. It amazes me.
Congratulations ,good to have you on the team of some of the best plastic crappie baits on the market and your new meatgetter edition EXCEL boat from Big River Marine all I can say is well deserved !!!!
Good lookin jersey Nimrod! It's about time they wised up.
So.......jigs catch fish!?????
Who knew??? :biggrin
I refuse to feed them minners . :Rofl Poor people have poor ways. Besides Southern Pro jigs work and cost less to use.:twocents I might catch even more at times if I used minners but maybe I'm just hard headed .:biggrin I fish for fun and if I catch fish with jigs it's even better. Just try asking a Green Carp fisherman to use Minners and he will look at you like your crazy.
Man. I've taken a TON of green carp on minnows. More than on any artificial bait, except for plastic worms. But, I don't do tournaments, or compete with others on what I catch. I just catch, clean, cook, and crap.
I have caught more this year on jigs, though. I'm trying hard to learn. But when I go, I'm going to try and catch fish, even if hey hit on purple willow leaves......... If I was as good with jigs as you guys, I'd never use a minnow either........I agree with that!
That's the very reason I put him on the pro staff. He isn't afraid to share what he knows with anyone!!! There's not a more deserving person of this honor than Nimrod. He has a true Passion for what he does, and he'll be a Great ambassador for Southern Pro Tackle!!!!!
Great looking shirt to go with Kena's new boat. DP
Nimrod, congrats and you made me a believer of those Southern Pro tubes the first time i fished with you. I had to buy them and i always said you are the best no minnow fisherman there is, you proved to me the many times that I've spent fishing with you that live bait is not needed to catch BIG CRAPPIE or limits of Crappie. Once again Nimrod congrats and keep up the good work. :cheers2:ThumbsUp:fish
Congrats CA. Probably most dedicated fisherman to southern pro tubes there is out there!
Congrats CA!! Well deserved for sure!
I've fished with C.A. for several years and I've never seen him fish with anything but a Sourthern Pro umbrella tube, or a Capps & Coleman or Walleye tube. I bet he's sold a lot of all of them for Southern Pro. Great representative for them. Congrats, C.A. for well deserved recognition! :highfive
You earned it for sure, SouthernPro tubes are in my boat right now because of you. Looked for then yesterday at BP didn't find them, they missed out on some sales. They're missing the boat on a good product.
Hey Mac Daddy the best is to buy directly from there Web Site that way you can order and look at all there products! !!!!
Congrats!
That shirt looks real good on you, just don't wear it out, better get three or four of them.:ThumbsUp
I just ordered more Southern Pro tubes, I gave some away for people to try.
