Excellent information! But I will say the bobbers pictured are not the good Thill bobbers. The bobbers pictured allow your mono fishing line to cut grooves in the top and your line eventually hangs up. You want the metal insert style of Thill bobbers. There is a copper looking insert pressed into the top of the bobbers and this allows for many years of use. Your line will slide effortlessly through with very little weight. I am only posting this to save folks the hassles I have learned, not to be argumentative. Good article!!
Great information, I love slip bobber fishing. Nothing better then to fish with a bobber and minnow for crappies, watch the bobber move sideways and then pulled under fish on!
