Bet the bayou will be muddy. Almost 2'' rain here and if that much in Russellville the pump station will fill it with muddy water.

Yeah, looks like tomorrow's it in the sunshine department. I'm flexible and can fish either weekends or weekdays, the trouble is just finding a DAY to get down. Friday looks like my best bet. Hopefully they slow the releases down out of Trimble a little. River is running fast.Quote:

But when I got back on the lake around 4 I picked up 10 more really nice crappie by 6 to make a good mess and then headed home around 7:30. The best one weighted in at 2.22lbs. May try and hit again in the morning. My first selfie, I should have just taken a picture of the fish and left it at that.
Good show, Bobby! Richard is a crappie catching machine. Bet there was a big yellow dog in the boat with him and his wife! In Florida now and can't wait to get back and get on the water. Thanks for the post and the pics.
You're right, I knew it was them when I saw the dog from quarter mile away. He's got a beautiful new, to him, boat too, very nice.
Enjoyed meeting you Mac Daddy. The bite was slow again today but caught a few late. Got to visit with RL Crappie and his wife for a while this afternoon. Sure was a pretty day, maybe I'll catch more tomorrow! Will look for you on the water tomorrow.
