I just ordered 7. I only saw the 2.99 price on 2 or 3 colors. I did get a few chartruese colored ones for the $2.99. i cant wait to try trolling with cranks this summer. Ive never done it before.

Not necessarily. Just cover water. Sometimes the better fish will be on the North side and the next day on the South side or maybe the on flats or hanging on the sides of the channel. The best thing about pulling at 1.7mph is that it doesn't take long to cover a lot water and run them down and start gong back an forth if need be. If I find them on a certain contour line, I can run it 8 to 10 miles an never turnaround.Quote:

can i pull cranks with 12 foot BNM BGJP? i know the ideal rods would be some trolling rods but thats just not an option right now....this crappie fishing stuff has gotten expensive
I pull mine with the same Southern Crappie Rods I use longlining and spider rigging. I just put my Okuma Magda Pro 15 linecounter reels on them for cranks.Quote:
