Thanks got me some coming
I just ordered 7. I only saw the 2.99 price on 2 or 3 colors. I did get a few chartruese colored ones for the $2.99. i cant wait to try trolling with cranks this summer. Ive never done it before.
DONT DO IT!!!!!! Repeat, DO NOT DO IT!!! You'll be hooked, and you'll join the I'm Hooked On Cranks club. Highly Addictive sport. Costly too!!!!!
Multiply that 7 you just bought by a Minimum of 100 and you'll still want more colors, styles, and shapes not to mention the rods, planer boards, line, pushing weights, storage boxes, and all the minor accessories you'll want, and NEED.
I guess I should just welcome you to "The Club" now!!!! [emoji4]
Bill, Bill, Bill you forgot to mention a Terrova with auto-pilot to lead the way!!!
lol yall trying to make me go broke....I have a new powerdrive with CO-pilot and my new evinrude etech 30 hp has an rmp trolling adjustment feature...I can put it at idle and bump rpms down and get it troll me at 0.9- whatever I want to increase it too so right now Im hoping to try it with my outboard and trolling motor until I figure out what works best for me.
Its the song there never ends, check out the new Arkie's on their website, awesome colors!!!!!
The new Arkie 350's are great......24 different color combos
should I just look for open flats? do they stage out in flats suspended during summertime....or do you still need to focus on cover
Not necessarily. Just cover water. Sometimes the better fish will be on the North side and the next day on the South side or maybe the on flats or hanging on the sides of the channel. The best thing about pulling at 1.7mph is that it doesn't take long to cover a lot water and run them down and start gong back an forth if need be. If I find them on a certain contour line, I can run it 8 to 10 miles an never turnaround.
Yall are officially on my wifes naughty list....
You can also get em on 12 to 16 ft. flats out from spawning areas staging up to go in.

Oh yeah just getting started
can i pull cranks with 12 foot BNM BGJP? i know the ideal rods would be some trolling rods but thats just not an option right now....this crappie fishing stuff has gotten expensive

The new Arkie 350's series has the chrome clown color.....check the Arkie website.
