Did you secure both materials to the jig before you twisted them together or twist two pieces together tie them off at both ends and tie them in?

Nice ties - I keep all the small pieces of chenille just for that purpose of spinning together. I have quart bags of scrap material pieces.
I do not see a palmered one, just one that has a collar. If you want to know what palmered is, it would be where you tie the feather that your going to Palmer it before the body is tied in and the. After its tied in you wrap it forward to the head and finish. Look up a Woolly Bugger fly and you will see a palmered hackle!
