He said he enjoyed time with his buddies. Of course we all are happy when he goes fishing. He catches fish, puppies get minnows, and Mama gets crawfish enchiladas from Pat's. :)

very cool!!! nice looking catch!!
Sounds like a good deal to me lol :Rofl
Fished in Bayou Amy, very nice landing that the state did there. Minimal boat traffic. Got there late, had to take the tractor in first thing this morning to the John Deere place - PTO out again. Launched at around 11:00. Water high and very muddy. Shiners 18" below a cork against the lay downs. Four like this works for me for the day. Enjoyed it.
Thanks Gene for the fig tree!
Randy it was great meeting you. To me you did great with 4 fish and starting at 11:00. I had 5 and started at sunrise with jigs.
Glad you made it home safely as did I. You are more than welcome for the tree. Oh and I wanted to tell you that the tuna jelly is great, we have just about eaten it all and Dwayne's mayhaw it right up there with yours.
It was my pleasure to meet some new faces today like Ricky and John, great fellows. I hope we can do it again.
I also met another person on the water but didn't get his name. I gave him my card and invited him to join us. He was very informative and gave us some tips. He's a dedicated sac fisherman and fishes a lot in a lot of places. Although he lives in Lafayette he even ventures into my territory. I hope he reads this and joins in. He is the type of fellow that would fit right in.

Good to see you guys reporting and it sounds as though everyone had a good time.
Glad to see you guys today.
Really nice time. Great meeting everyone - real nice group :)
I really enjoy the comradery of our group......though we are all different, we all come together as one in our get togethers....
I stopped to get shiners and ice in Ramah.....had problems recently with shiners from there dying but it was convenient to stop there..... paid inside & took the shiners to my truck....drove off and forgot to get my ice from outside.....halfway to the launch I realized what I had done....panic now setting in as Shadow was already at the launch waiting for me....remembering that I have seen signs at the launch exit about some kind of store nearby I opted to chance it....found a very nice store 1/3 mile from the launch.....ice, gas station, bait, hot bisquits, you name it....and shiners......my new home.....then I realized, forgetting the ice was no mistake...I was led there.....God works in mysterious ways.....
Ann, sorry about stealing your thread....
Bruce

Knew about the store, did not know they sold shiners. I may pick some up next time. HAHAHAHAHA.
sounds like a great day....enjoyed myself reading the post.....
I really enjoyed myself, need to stop working so hard. Thanks fellas.
Nice fishing with all of you and meeting Wheeling Jigman & Mermentau and seeing all my other old buddies again! Henderson was tough for us but it is a BEAUTIFUL place to fish. Bruce and I only managed 3 bass, 2 gills, & 1 sac! Of course Bruce caught the sac! lol Thanks again for bringing me Bruce, really enjoyed it!
Randy, we just following the word.......
Ecclesiastes 5:18......"enjoy the fruits of your labors"........
Yes thanks Bruce for being the tour guide we really enjoy it. Like I told you yesterday, that sure is a beautiful place not the catch fish in. On second thought, I did catch a small sac, and so did my son. Let's just say they were whole fryers.
