Texas update 3/ 24/ 15

Got here to find the lake 4ft higher than normal and water temp of 53 degrees, now the water level is starting to fall, caught a few sat afternoon, but the bite just died sunday and monday. Finally started biteing a little this afternoon, water temp is up to 65 and the fish started hitting jigs on the single trees in 4ft of water.

Reminded me of fishng the oxbow lakes south of Memphis with my Granddad. He was retired from the Illinois Central (57 Years) and we fished Lakeview, Arkabutla, Sardis, and Tunica. Wonderful memories, Thanks!
