Awesome! Good report. Were they hittin minnows or jigs?
Where they near bottom or suspended? fished till 4:30 and only got 1 little crappie and a cat, forgot depth finder so made it a little rough.
I was fishing in about 16-17 ftw and caught a lot on minnows but still caught some on jigs
Anyone know a good guide for Green River?

2nd David jones. Top notch.
Tim Marple ant a licensed guide but I've been with him many times and he can put you on fish!! He's fished th lake for about 20 years! If you would be interested
I fished with David last April. We caught fish when folks were packing and leaving. Well worth the price.
Tim has posted a lot of nice fish on this website. Never fished with him.

Was thinking of going tomorrow. Are they pulling the lake down? What's the water look like? Muddy, stained?
Today's COE Lake Level Report says it was still a little over 4ft above Summer Pool & falling about a foot a day.
Monthly chart looks to show that it's fallen about 7ft over the last week or so.
I'd say you could find about any color water you'd want, just depending on what part of the lake you were on.

David and Tim are great guys and know where to be.
Tim is hard to reach now that he was hit the big time!;)
Hello All newbie here there's a lot of great info here.
thinking about hitting the lake tomorrow to see if we can find any, may wait till the afternoon after it warms a bit, they say sunny and 60's,Look's like the level is back down. May try up towards smith ridge and work our way back to the state dock, may be to shallow yet for that area but thought we would work the channels, guess you have to start some where. what do you all think?
Good luck gunny! Captain Daddy and myself are headed out in just a bit, but we will be working the other side of the lake. Here fishing, fishing.
