Attachment 195496Attachment 195497Attachment 195498 Here are some pics from today. The clouds look like they grew teeth. Herons got disturbed by something, ive never seen as many as there were. Some got back down in the trees before I could snap this pic. Fished shallow today 3' and 4' cork set in 7-8 fow. Fish were biting good then shut down when another boat arrived. I really think that the fishfinders noise had something to do with it. Ive heard that opinion go both ways. But when I put some distance between us I started catching again. Also my yak doesn't have electronics and ive done so much better in it than my jon boat that has a fishfinder. Anyway had fun and looking foward to the shad run this year. Going to try it in the yak at least once.

I have both hummingbird and lowrance can you tell me wich is the most disturbant....I have searched and coming up empty on fish alarmed by sonar .....can you elaborate

In response to the questions, barges still in place for now. Haven't heard anything about them being moved. As to the fish holding to structure, i cant say as i dont have any electronics on my yak. Chasing baitfish? 15 of them chased my minnows. BIG MISTAKE. Didnt see any perch being caught but there were 2 boats at the dam chasing them i think, didnt ask. Monday they were there and fat. I expect that the next warm spell might get them to spawn. Will be there tommorrow in my yak,stop by and say hello. Please turn off your fishfinder first.
