I'm interested in this too!!!
Here are mine on Stinger 195 using SternMate. Danny

Doesn't that put the ducer right in line with the bunk board ? I have the picture you sent it to me before. Could you take one from the side ? My bunk boards stick out a good 2 inches past the transom. I was hoping to avoid having to trim the board back. I will if need be and I know from talking to you you get good performance from the ducer in this position Attachment 195222
Scoot your winch stand back 2 inches then you wont have to trim the boards
Yeah Steve is all over it. He post it then calls me talking about my winch. I'm like what are you talking about winch lol Doh Thanks Buddy I need more sunshine
GoBob, my boards stick out by 2 inches as well. no need to move winch. Transducer clears board by 3 or 4 inches. I will post another picture later today. Danny
Thanks Buddy. I would have to take the boat off my trailer to move the winch back anyway, got those slick pads on the bunks. I don't want end up with the boat on the garage floor lol. Thanks again
Gobob, Here are the pictures you asked for. Hope they answer your questions and ease your concerns. Keep in mind the when you install it using the SternMate instruction, the bottom of transducer is on the same plane as the bottom of boat which means it is at same plane as top of board. (I have since lowered mine about 3/8").
Mine has been installed since June with no issues other than the one time I ran boat up too far on trailer and eye on bow actually went over winch. The transducer apparently hit board and flipped up like it is designed to do with the hardware I have. Make sure you have same hardware so transducer flips up in case it hits anything (trailer, log, stump, etc....)
Trust me (he said) and you will be happy with install and SI performance.

Thanks I'll get it done this weekend
Good luck, make sure you clean surface very well before installing SternMate. Would love to see some SI pics once done. If you didn't noticed, the back of my transducer is slightly down. made HUGE improvement in top speed performance and SI images. Will just have to find you sweet spot. -danny
I got the stern saver very similar same process 2 part epoxy etc. also cut 3 holes in the dash to ad switches. Waiting on the last switch to come Attachment 195920Attachment 195921
Well I went to the chiropractor after work. My frame was bent and my struts were bad. So no working on the boat today. Ready to finish transducer mounting and waiting on LED's and 1 more switch all in good time
Gobob, I have LEDs coming too. Now I know what the switches are for. Where are you getting the switches? Would like to see pictures of your LED lights.
Ordered the switches from my Lowe dealer so they would match I'll PM you their number if yours cant get them. $11.22 each I think $11. and some change for sure. Ill post a pic of the lights once I have them done, they are supposed to be in this Sat.
I will call Lowe dealer in Houston. You did a good job putting those switches in. Did you just drill hole then file out to correct shape?
What at are you doing with your LED lights? I'm going to put some green below water line on transom and then run some Amber under gunwale to light up deck at night.
Danny.
Gobob, LED lights are in and switches on order.
I'm putting them around the inside of the boat. Live wells storage boxes under the dash under the seat just about everywhere
I put blue painters tape on the dash then laid it out. Then drilled around the inside of the lines then I used a double cut file to fit and finish
Well I was getting good pictures up to 5mph waiting on no wake to go away then I'll be able to run it up until it drops out I'll be happy if I still get a good pic at 10mph 20 would be super
Had to move the ducer , still need to fine tune it a little. Haven't got the lights installed yet. I tried a small section and solder some 18-2 wire on to the strip, worked briefly then I moved it and poof shorted it out, I just ordered the solder less connectors today. Headed to Shelbyville for the weekend with the whole gang , fish are biting .Lights will have to wait lol
BTW, I found exact same switches at Delcity.com for around $6.
