What a Mess
Our dock is torn apart by a stray stump and ice. All the flotation cushions are damaged and one lift air tank has been ripped off the lift structure. Part of roof on the back porch room gave way to the ice and water penetrated the inside bath ceiling and wall. Tree broke and destroyed our outside night lighting pole and fixture. Tree limbs down everywhere. Looks like a tornado hit. Waiting on insurance adjuster. Oh well, this is part of the life on the river.

Sorry to hear about that Tom. Want some mud? All this rain makes me want to stock fish in the yard. Good luck with the adjuster.

Same problems here. The ice really tore things up. Now the rain. To muddy to get in the yard to clean it up. Might as well go fishing. :)

This short slide shows some of the damage. The bladder chamber that lifts the boat is wedged under the front part of the dock.

The dock repair folks will bring 4 chain type come a longs and lift the whole floating part out of the water with the come a longs attached to the top of the dock poles, and then replace the floaters. They will also lift the float lift the same way except from the cross trusses.
I been here before. I did repairs by myself before. One day I just woke up old and started wearing old folks clothes.
