Had another good day on Barren. When we found 51 degree water, we found fish. Out of 26 that we kept, only one was a white. Of all the fish we caught today we measured one,Attachment 194494 and it was over ten. Spring has sprung.

What's the water like on barren? Chocolate milk? Mildly flooded, heavily flooded? We are dying to get out and tville is a no go.
Not sure which is worse, the mud or the debris. Had to push two floating trees away from the ramp before I could launch the boat yesterday. The muddy water is bad. Went Friday and The fishing was great, as good of a day as you could ever want. We started fishing at 7:30 and had two limits by 9:30. Fished in the rain and had whole lake to ourselves. Caught all blacks except three or 4 whites. Saw two other fisherman and they were bass fishing.Attachment 194996
Trying to get a trip in soon. Probably a long shot but would share the general area you fished and what type of baits you caught them on? Any info would be appreciated. I love crappie just have a hard time finding them.:biggrin
