Had some men down to fish in the boathouse Fri and Sat. Caught 55 with the largest 2.3 lbs. No shallow spawners and no bass on the beds as of yet but the weather has been 20 degrees below average for the month. High water starting to come over sea walls and docks Monday afternoon. Going back to try them again Wed.
How deep were you guys fishing?
Depth in boathouse is between 9 and 11 feet. Most fish were on the bottom in the brush

I've bass fished on the other side of the bridge and duck hunted out there before, never crappie fished it though.
How is the water looking. Seen last week the water was over my boat dock. Planing on coming tomorrow after I get off of work.
I was there Wednesday and the water had fallen probably 10 inches from its peak. It continued to fall Thursday and Friday even though there was a little more rain. I caught 11 Wednesday afternoon and 25 with a buddy before lunch Thursday. I'm going down around lunch tomorrow. {Tuesday}

Im in Jones branch . My place has a 4 stall open boathouse with a diving board on the end of the pier. I usually fish in the 2 boathouses connected by a walkway between them near that point with the big pine tree laid over in the water. Today and tomorrow should be good

Thanks nice report and looks like your doing well! Our fish started last week, but Saturday they opened the flood gates and the fish just quit. even with gates open the lake was still rising and got a foot above full pool! finally they opened 9 gates 3' and that got them catching up with the in flow and started to drop a little, but more rain all night last night so now we see!
