I am positive long cane and little river sc are muddy.
I think there's a good many folks with cabin fever that plans on fishing this weekend. Just depends on who goes first and gives the rest of us a report. I'm off work Sun-Tues so hopefully all reports will be favorable and hoping there will be plenty of them.:)
If the fish in long cane& little river waited on the water to clear up to bite they would die of starvation LOL. I don't know the temps there but long cane, little river area usually is warmer than other areas, but with all this fresh water coming down the river all bets are off
Probably won't hear many reports until Sunday after the Crappie USA tournament lol
Now That explains why there hasn't been any Hill posts of late.....
Report will be up later tonight. [emoji12]
Saw 55 degree water down the lake, 53 in Buffalo creek as high temps today. little stain down the lake, heavy stain in buffalo. Only caught 3 crappie, but 2 were 2lbers. 1/16, and 1/32 jig heads pulling.
Some decent numbers and sizes coming out longlining. seemed most were in 10-15 foot of water with water temps ranging from 51-57 depending on where you go. Heard one report of someone catching some in 2 foot of water. Winner of the tourney was shooting docks. Water was really muddy, stained and clear depending on where you fished as well
