Is it still open to fishing as long as you pay the $5 boat ramp fee?? What about the "Country Club"?? They still serving ribeyes on Friday night?? I haven't been over there in 5 or 6 years at least.

Kent,
They have a facebook page and they announce it on there if they are cooking. I haven't been down there in a couple of years but as far as I know you can still pay and fish there.
Thanks Lynn. I sent a friend request to them. Looking forward to a steak and some fishing, not necessarily in that order!
Yep. Best steak around. Also doing crab legs now
I bet the water is too high now.
Full of carp too
With the rain and snow that is on its way right now, it will probably be high in a day or 2.
Good steak for sure! Haven't been fishing down there in a couple years though, last time me and my step dad went we couldn't fish for the dang cold jaws trying to get in the boat and the carp were as bad as I've seen them anywhere.
Yes they still cook great steaks and yes they allow fishing but i has been pretty bad for about 10 years because of the jumping carp. It will ae about 20ftn the Memps gauge to cut the road of the short way in but you can take the long way around down Edith-Nakipoo Rd and the river will have to be around 23 in order to cut it off
That's good info Minnow Rig! Thanks. I doubt I would try it at over 20 feet but it's good stuff to know.
