If you are going to put many miles on them pulling it down the interstate then don't use bias ply tires, they don't seem to take the heat generated at higher speeds. At least mine didn't and they were new Carlisle 4 ply bias, I went through 3 new ones in less than 6 months chunks of the tread would come off. I have 2 fiberglass bass boats and put about 1,000 miles a month on them mainly pulling them on the interstate around 75mph. Put new radial trailer tires on them and haven't had 1 problem since last May. Southern Tire Mart is where I bought them they had a great deal on them, believe it or not I think I only paid around $50 each.:twocents
