Couldn't stand it anymore. Went to Bay Springs this morning. Water temp was 40. Did manage to find them deep. In a 48 feet deep ditch near main lake.

Single poling. I went prepared to spider rig, even got a bucket of minnows. They are typically shallow this time of year but they were not there. Never harmed a minnow. I have not had much luck spider rigging that deep. Do a lot better single poling over cover that deep.Quote:
