Hit Enid. You can't do no worse.
I agree, get in the middle if the wind will let you. Find the channel and head East or West. Pay attention to your electronics and maps, once you find something hang with it. funny how they will be on one side or the other of that channel and not the other in the same depth water. Havent looked at the wind for tomorrow but if I were going its most likely where I would start.
It was Mr Goodtime you saw at the baitshop.
Well nobody can say you ran from bad conditions . :popcorn
Woody, was great meeting yall.
Wind forecast is for east 6 to 15 most of the morning, not good on any of the 3 lakes. Still Enid would be my choice, Wallace creek area, east wind should be blocked off of ya some and that hollar usually holds some fish there somewhere.
Someone chime in, not sure but you should be able to put in at Wallace right?
Doubt it about about Wallace, If were me I'd go to McCurdy at the dam. You'll have the crosswind to deal with, but my experience with Wallace with the water that low can be tricky, depending on the boat size!
GOOD LUCK!
Wallace Creek is accessible. When you leave the ramp, hold left until you get out a ways. There is a mound of dirt out there.
yep
Thanks everybody, have nothing but great things to say about the state of mississippi and the people who call it home. Even though the fishing wasn't great I got to go to my first Piggly Wiggly and I have to say I may go grocery shopping before heading home tomorrow lol. We're going to give it a shot if the wind doesn't cooperate we may get off the water by 11 and hit reelfoot on the way home.
Wallace is fine. The fishing stunk!
Well we made it home safe and sound, we woke up a little late so we went to sardis this morning marked a lot of fish but they didn't want anything we had to offer. Then the trolling motor battery decided to catch a terminal (get it lol) illness and died after only an hour from a full charge. So we buttoned everything up and headed home, good news for yall is you are short one skunk lol he went all the way back with us... Thank you for everyone's help you all have been more than gracious
Mr. Good time it was great meeting you as well nice to put a face with the name
Same here woody, let us know when yall will be back
Ps......yall can keep the skunk
Lol thanks I think I'm going to take him and drop him off in Tennessee on my way to crappie usa tournament at kentucky lake
