Got something similar but I used a 2" union and put a coffee filter where the two screw together. Cut a 3" long piece of 2" PVC for the bottom and ran my air in there. Now I get a more even flow of air thru the paint bed.:biggrin

Haven't tried coffee filters, I use those brown lunch bags.
Just wondering how long do you have to keep them in there and how many can you put in at 1 time? Thanks
I powder coat my jig heads one at a time. Get the paint fluffy with the air flow, heat the jig head with a heat gun, grab the jig head by the hook eye with a pair of needle nose pliers, and shake the jig head thru the paint. Takes all of a few seconds. I have a rack that I hang them on and bake them in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 350. Doing that makes the paint really set up and get hard. Also holding the jig head by the hook eye doesn't allow the paint to cover the eye and you don't have to knock the paint out of the eye.
I need to come see how y'all do it. Seems like the perfect thing for cabin fever during the cold hard winter!!
Come on over bigfish. I'll be glad to show you anything you need to know about it. Only 5 minutes from where golfpro used to live.
Next time I do some I'll GoPro it and post it up. Easy to learn and do. I can paint a hundred heads in about 10 mins with setup. I have said a heap of money pouring and painting my own jigheads
That would be great if you don't mind Dutch. I'm like Bigfishheads it would give me something to do during the cold winter days. Thanks and thanks for a quick response spiderman.
I've been using my cold winter days in new house at sugar creek to... Knock out...3 chandelier installs...4 celing fans .. Timers...dimmers...receptacles, switches and plate change out...bout a 100 of them!!!...I'd love to had been pouring jigs!!!!
Golfpro, you can come with bigfish. I'll show both of ya'll at the same time. Jig painting 101. :Rofl
That's funny Quick, just finished my single a few days ago. Looks real similar... How are you doing the filter to the bottom of the cup? Glue of some sort? I've been pushing mine down over the 2" coupler. Seems easier to clean out between colors and can experiment with different paper. The one shown in black is construction paper and the white ones are plain ol printer paper. Used coffee filter too. They all have sutle differences. Still experimenting though!

The cups...
I gotcha! What glue did you use? May do that when I find the right paper for my bed. lol, not sure I'll find any better. I seem to all make them work! I've been dumping it back in the jar when done.
I buy my jig heads online and dey already did.
Yeah but how much coin does it cost you? Guy at work is buying painted head $7 for 25...that gets expensive quick.
I am pouring and painting jigheads for pennies...I don't care much to watch TV so I do jigheads instead.
To each his own, its what makes the world go round.
