Sorry to hear that for you MrGoodtime and I never like that the Dr.s can charge twice for the work that they didn't do right to start with. I asked a doctor one time why while replacing some door locks on his house why was it that if I went to his office with a problem say a sore throat and he gave me medicine or a shot and next week it was not well and I came back he would charge me again . But if the locks I was putting on his house did not work correctly he would not want to pay me to work on them again. Well what he told me was that I was suppose to be a professional at putting locks on and that he was just practicing medicine. Well the old Doc. is dead and gone on now but he was a very good Doctor. He never would take the insurances at his clinic the price to see him was $14.00 to see him and $6.00 for a shot back in the early 70's. He even sewed up two of my kids same price. I miss old Doc. the prices now are ridiculous even with good insurance. Get well soon.
He shouldn't charge you for a do over. These Doctors make a mistake, and charge you again to fix it right. It's like they get paid twice if they do a lousy job the first time.Quote:

Tracker, i agree he didnt put it there but dont like him telling me its all busted up, then during follow up saying oops, i didnt get it anywhere near busted. Now i'm going to be outa pocket several thousand dollars more paying for his mistake.
Hard to describe to others the joy of passing 100 grains of sand after lithotripsy.

Yeah, I'm sensitive when it comes to people talking down doctors. My point is that every person is different, every drug acts differently in every person, no procedure is the same every time. Doctors use an educated guess when treating patients. Doctors spend a minimum of eight years in higher education. You try going eight years without a paycheck while racking up student loans to pay for such education! Damn straight they have earned every dime they make.Quote:

Oh and here's a tip for ya, doctors never clear or release a patient because if they do and something bad happens they can get sued. Use your good sense and stop seeing the doctor when your better.
