I stopped by NWR today and there were a few open areas of no ice but not around the ramp. With the temps they are predicting again it looks like solid ice for Saturday. I talked to James and he agrees. So we will shoot for Mar 7th.

Looks like I'm out. Two more consecutive cold nights down there and calling for freezing precip thursday. Too much going on up here. I can ship trophies to the winners.
Yeah, here we go again. Snow and sleet Thursday with a low of 23 Thursday night. Friday is suppose to be sunny but not get above freezing with a low of 20 Friday night. I requested the Coast Guard to make a run up to the bridge with an icebreaker but they haven't replied. Do you suppose that means no?
I have a suggestion, like to hear some feedback, but I think we should focus more on a spring Buggs bash the third or fourth weekend in march.
