Mississippi Bound?

Still pondering if I should reschedule my trip for late next week. Anybody else going south?
Im was going to lake washington or Grenada. At least they dont have ice on their lakes like we do!

I heard the water temp rigjt now is in the mid 40's at washington.

Its not looking good right now, chances of rain next Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Snow developing over Thursday night.
Hopefully the forecast will change, might end up being a last minute decision.

I just seen 58 for next Thursday

Trust me, I am wishing for a better forecast. Cabin fever is killing me.

Grenada is up 5' and if you throw a stick in it will stand straight up. Fished it that way last spring and it flat out sucked.

They don't have a clue that far out. JMO. At least I hope.

Lol. I just looked up Glen Allen MS which is the south end of the lake (?), and they forecast is calling for almost 70 degrees.

Looked up Chatham, MS and Glen Allan, MS on intellicast. They are pretty much the same.

I am scheduled to go to Reelfoot next Thurs/Fri. Staying at Cypress Pointe. They said as of yesterday there is ice on the lake. It's supposed to warm up but if there's still ice on Tuesday, we'll probably have to eat the deposit.

Reservations are set. Headed out Tuesday a.m. Should be fishing by 2pm ;)

Got rain suit packed and don't care if I catch a fish! Lol just eating crawfish taking it easy lol

Changed days due to some weather during the week.
Going down Sunday morning 8th thru the 11th.

Good choice ... I just got back and it was terrible , we hit Sardis twice grenada once and never caught a fish. Cold windy rainy and both lake look like chocolate milk

Lake Washington is a oxbows lake and very different than sardis and grenada.
Dont mind fishing in some weather, but sleet and freezing rain just doesn't appeal to me!
