Hi Odie (Doug) --are you new here?:dono Welcome!
Hey BigFin, since the OKC guys have a crappie coffee, what do ya think about having a Sand Springs/Tulsa one? Maybe at the Sand Springs landmark, know as the Crescent Cafe. And maybe invite Tom the BS guy?
I'm crappie papa, aka Pappa, aka mother hen...
I'm OK Toon, aka Steve. I live in Broken Arrow but spend just about every weekend at our lake place on Eufaula. I was fortunate that my family has had the lake place on Eufaula since I was 7 years old. After Mom passed away in 95, Dad didn't spend much time there so the mobile home and dock started falling into disrepair. But Dad signed the place over to me a few years ago, my wife and I have been working really hard to fix things back up. Some day we plan to retire down there. I've crappie fished most my life - but all I've ever done is fished with minnows. I remember the calendar Dad used to keep of the pounds of filets that he cleaned every time. We used to have a dedicated upright freezer that was always full of bags of crappie filets. Oh the memories....
Hello everyone, I'm Benny from Skiatook. Took up bass fishing a few years ago, but recently we started crappie fishing and love it. Although I've done more fishing than catching. Been lurking around the site for a few months and have learned a lot. Still have a lot to learn. Fish mostly Skiatook, but fish Ft. Gibson, Oologah and a little at Copan. Going to do my best to make the summer camp.
Welcome Benny, glad you're here! I'm still in awe watching and learning from these guys! Send me coordinates on Skiatook I'll try and help you out!😄
BigFin, AKA Jason
Do you drive a red ford pickup?
Since we have the new roll call thread, I'll bite....
I'm IkenI.
Been on Crappie.Com for just under 9 years (and I still don't have 1000 posts.) Great bunch of people here. Welcome to all the newcomers and long time lurkers that came out of the closet. Everybody needs to try and come to one of our camps or tournaments. Wister is about a month away and the fishing should be great. The camping and eating shouldn't be bad either. Our big annual camp is scheduled for Tenkiller the first weekend in June. A family affair and some of us already have our reservations for a camp site. Check out the camping threads. Again,
:welcome
Floyd

Crappie camps have been a dream of mine ever since I found this site--and now they are happening-thanks mainly to the excellent organizational skills of Mr Dave Brown! I'll miss the spring camp but will be at the summer camp in June. Welcome to all the newcomers and lurkers; this a great group of guys and a few gals too!

Hey there.. I'm tooned out aka Troy.
I have posted on here a few times over the past year and tried hard but wasn't able to make the Eufaula camp last year. I live in longtown on Lake Eufaula with a dock and just got my first bass boat so I plan on fishing a lot more this year and really look forward to getting into crappie fishing more. I would love to meet a mentor to help me learn the ropes of crappie fishing and it never hurts to have another fishing friend or two. feel free to message me if I can help with anything..
I'm Reaper, I McGiver my way through life.
Crappiebob, or just plain old Bob. Lived in Owasso for 30 years, moved to OKC/Yukon/Mustang area 4 years ago. Loved and fished a lot of the lakes in eastern Oklahoma, little slimmer choices in OKC. However, have boat and will travel as needed.
As co-owner of a business, hard to find time to get away to fish, but hoping this changes this year. Keep having the camps and tournaments, I'll eventually get to attend one of them.
And welcome to all the new members.
Bob

I"m Dennis. I live near Kaw lake in the country, and fish Lots of small area lakes as well as Kaw lake.
Recently retired, so I can fish/hunt pretty much when I want now. I was around when Kaw lake was being built, and have ridden a dirt bike over most of what is now the bottom of the lake, or hunted it. My cousin owned the land that Kaw dam is built on.
