:yikes
Shes thawing out as we speak! !!
I can't take it anymore! I'm fishing next weekend all weekend! It will be good and thawed by next weekend
The forecast I'm seeing doesn't look good for Reelfoot to thaw. Looks like I made need to head south a couple of hours.
Yea I noticed that. I was sure hoping it would open up by Saturday but I'm just not so sure now.
Need the wind to blow. I'm sure some it opened up Saturday but if the wind don't blow looks like we will have to wait.
We need duck season open. At least there'd be some boat trails across it!! :biggrin
And some blinds tore down and decoy spreads lost....oh wait, I'm on the wrong site for that comment lol.
I was up there today working and the lake is still frozen around the ramps but there is open water out in the lake. I'll be glad to see some warmer weather.
You didn't happen to bust a chunk out to see how thick it is did you?
Anyone ever heard of ice fishing. :)
I'm not to worried about getting out to the open water, I'm more concerned with getting the boat off the trailer without damage to boat, motor or trailer.
I don't think it is going to be thawed out enough for this weekend. Sucks because I'm dying to get back on the water. With little wind and the lows are still bitter cold I can't imagine anybody getting on the lake this weekend. Next week we have a lot of rain in the forecast and a warm up so we should be good to go
Anybody know if the lake is froze, or can anybody even get up there to see?
It was 2 degrees in Blytheville this morning. I'm betting it's still froze
I had a picture of a buddy of mine house on the washout, he had about a foot of snow on the ground yesterday.
Shes 90% thawed. People where fishing today.
can launch at kirbys and champeys pocket everything else still froze
