Needing to buy some myself. Just going to get a set of the cheap digital scales for like $25 or so.
I use a Rapalla digital scale from Bass Pro - around $25. Seems to work just fine.
X2 on Toons Rapala tho it can be tough to read in the sun.
Those are what I have also. Works very well and are within .02ozs of our certified scales we use for tournaments. The one I am speaking of are about the size of a goose egg and same shape......Ranger
Thanks guys, i got some berkley digital ones with the boga grip, ive had them for a few years and i tried to use them this weekend and it kept giving me some bogus readings, i guess they crapped out.
It looks like this
Thanks toon, im going to bass pro tomorrow night so i can get one and lots of other stuff that i dont need, lol
Thanks toon, I was wondering excatly which ones you all were talking about. I need some new ones myself and have a birthday BPS card that I "need" to use!
WW42...remind me again why you need scales!!!!!!!
I have the scales but I don't know if they are any good -- I've never caught anything over 1.5lb since I got the scale last year. I guess the "2lb" reading actually works -- well, at least it did when I pulled on the hook. :Rofl
I have the Rapala scales, but there seems to be a problem. They always show that the fish weighs much less than what I told everybody it was. Factory defect probably.
I have a set of Berkley scales I have had for years work great. Have weighted more baby goats with them than fish.
