Darbonne 2/13/15
Fished Darbonne this morning and caught 1 fish.Talked to several people who had 1 or none.I'm sure some people caught a boat load but it didnt happen for me today. The highlight of my trip was eating a hot meal at the diner.Maybe this afternoon will be better.Sorry no good report, good luck to everyone, maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow.

Been out here since noon with one bite so far. Haven't seen anyone near me catch a fish.
-
Just caught my fist fish. Blue thunder. Edge of channel in 22 fow just off the bottom.
-
Yikes. I was told yesterday that some good catches had been made Wednesday at Fork's Ferry and around Hwy 2.
-
Dang I was plan on on going in the morning too. Now idk
-
You never know, they should turn on any day.Its supposed to be a beautiful day,go and enjoy.
-
Well I still might go, even though it's over an hour drive for me.
-
There were a bunch of boats around Forks Ferry but I refuse to fight the crowds whether they are biting there or not. Ended up catching three. One good one and two small ones. Missed several others. All between Forks Ferry and Hwy 2. I didn't see anyone catching but I'm sure some folks were somewhere.
-
I'm keeping my fingers crossed things will kick off soon
-
-
Stay at them its gonna turn on. It was slow then it would get right then slow agai .

Forks Ferry is where Corney channel comes into the Old D'Arbonne river channel. The water there is about 5 ft deeper where they meet. The channel just south has some large standing stumps
-
Forks Ferry is up from jakes where corney and little darbonne come together, just look for the boats

A friend of mine was there on Friday and caught 25 with 21 being good fish in the 1 lb. to 1 1/4 lb. range, a few larger. Caught at 15 to 22 ft deep in water up to 38 feet deep.
